Came here with my mom for a quick breakfast. She got the pastrami burger and i got the californian omelette. Though I loved my meal, i wished i got the pastrami burger after trying hers. It was absolutely delicious. We sat at the bar and really enjoyed the service from our bartender who gave us great recommendations and conversation. Great place!

Wow! Excellent food, excellent service! Even the basic coffee was great! I look forward to going back and trying some desserts next time.

I tried Carnegie Diner back in June and I can still vividly remember how great the food was there. This used to be Yellow Diner but it changed owners and here we are. I came here after work to try out this place after it being recently open. I sat down among the many tables that were filled with other patrons delighted to eat their delicious food; I heard many good things prior the visit and I was hoping to get a taste of the food for myself. This place was packed with young adults, many seniors, and a lot of smiling faces. The menu is really vast, it's actually shocking that there's so many things I want to order but I would not be able to finish them all. That's why multiple visits are required, right? I got the Symphony Breakfast which comes with your choice of bread. I got wheat toast. It comes with three organic eggs of your choice with potatoes, fresh fruit, either bacon/ham/sausage or smoked salmon ( an upcharge ). Alongside it comes with coffee or tea or even a small orange juice. Talk about the vast options you can get. It comes with a free drink too? That's just the cherry on the top. When my food came out I was not expecting a hefty meal worthy of the name. The food speaks for itself and while it's just breakfast food consider this; when was the last time you have been to a diner/breakfast chain and asked the question, " Am I getting my money's worth? " Believe me this was enough to get me full and I eat a lot. I could talk about how delicious the food is but I'm sure you already know my verdict on it. I can not really fathom how get so much food + drink for such an affordable price. The server was also really nice too and came back to check on me despite the chaos that was surrounding us. It was every seat that was filled up during my visit and he was really able to handle it. One big plus is that you can also check out with your server with one of those mobile ordering devices. I wish more places had that to be honest.

As diners go, this place is unique. It is a clean, upbeat, vibrant, busy and modern. Portion sizes were big and the service was nice (especially from the manager). Food was okay though (hash browns were made more in quantity than quality), and the prices were higher, too. Because it was busy, the place was very loud; I advise adding a few dividers between the tables for some privacy and noise reduction. Overall, the place is good, but granted the high prices and noise level, I don't see myself coming here often. 3.5/5
